Cookie Policy

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to improve performance and to provide information to site owners.

2. Cookies we use

  • Strictly necessary cookies. Required for the site to function — for example, to remember your eligibility quiz progress, your authentication state, and basic security tokens. These cannot be disabled.
  • Functional cookies. Remember your preferences such as language and city, so you don't have to re-enter them.
  • Analytics cookies. Help us understand how visitors use sated.health (which pages are read, where people drop off) so we can improve the experience. All analytics data is aggregated and anonymised.
  • Marketing cookies. Used to measure the performance of campaigns that brought you to our site. These are set only with your consent.

3. Third-party cookies

We use trusted third-party services (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, our payment processor) that may set their own cookies. We have data processing agreements in place with these providers.

4. Local storage

We store your eligibility quiz responses temporarily in your browser's local storage so you can return and finish later. This data stays on your device and is removed once you submit the quiz.

5. Managing cookies

You can accept or decline non-essential cookies through the consent banner that appears on your first visit. You can also clear or block cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site.
